Ice? What Ice?

I awoke this morning to about three to four inches of new snow.

Great.  We'll take that moisture in any form it wants to make an appearance.

Tried to get on line to do my usual morning computer routine and found the connections were agonizingly slow.  Managed to get an e-mail off to the owner of the internet service we have here in Eldora and got a response back indicating it was because of the ice on everything in Eldora and there wasn't anything he could do about it and when the temperatures got up to the predicted 49F degrees tomorrow that should take care of it.  One doesn't expect an internet connection to be like a frayed electrical connection, but, hey, it's called NedNet and we're in the sticks and lucky to have it so I accepted the explanation even though it didn't look icy.

Then I went to dig out the car this afternoon so I could go to Nederland for a few groceries to tide me over until tomorrow's Senior Discount Wednesday and the cheap A Chicken in Every Pot broasted chickens....
 

Apparently it rained and froze on before it snowed sometime in the night.  Each of these photos has taken about ten minutes to load so I'm making this short and will post more photos tomorrow.
